English: October 25, 1944: Kamikaze pilot in a Mitsubishi Zero A6M5 Model 52 crash dives on escort carrier USS White Plains (CVE-66). The aircraft is missing the flight deck and impacts the water just off the port quarter of the ship a few seconds later.
