Summary

Here are two photos depicting assassination bullet damage to Theodore Roosevelt's speech manuscript and steel eyeglass case. These two photos were taken by me at the US National Park Service's Roosevelt Birthplace on 28 E. 20th Street, New York, NY. These two photos are of the genuine artifacts and were captured by me through the glass case at the site. I enhanced the contrast and sharpness. And I grouped them into one collage image using Photoshop. Visitors to this public National Park Service site can also see the bullet-damaged shirt TR was wearing.

Incidentally, the name on the eyeglass case is that of an optician firm, E.B. Meyrowitz.

These artifacts are property of the U.S. Department of Interior.
