AWM Caption: THE SCENE AT THE TURKISH HOSPITAL AT DAMASCUS IN 1918, SHORTLY AFTER THE ENTRY OF THE 4TH ALH REGIMENT. THE PICTURE SHOWS THE AUSTRALIANS ROUNDING UP THE 10,000 PRISONERS CAPTURED HERE. ONE OF THE FIGURES IN THE CENTRE IS COLONEL BOURCHIER. (DONATED BY MR. J.A. HENDERSON.)
