Sorry but I couldn't find anywhere else to add this little tidbit of information. The image on this stamp is of the copper mine that was located in the community of Tilt Cove, on the Baie Verte peninsula. When the mine was booming, in excess of 5000 people lived in the community but now only a few families live in the area.
