Be part of a musical first and support SOS Children!

28/03/2007

SOS Children is proud to be part of the world’s first interactive chart release, on which anyone in the world can sing on. London-based artist, The Elusive*, has created the song ‘Arrest the president(s)’ and is inviting the general worldwide public to sing backing vocals on the chorus via their mobile phone or mp3 submissions and will be donating proceeds to SOS Children.

The song itself is a plea for change, encouraging the global population to hold world leaders accountable for their actions and the effects these actions have, particularly on some of the world’s most vulnerable members. But as well as this important message, it’s hoped that the song will become a major chart hit and break some records in the process.

The Elusive

The song is already creating a bit of a storm on the internet and media interest is growing fast. The Elusive* also hopes to attract some high profile singers and entertainers to add their dulcet tones to the song in the coming weeks. If all goes well, there could be up to 60,000 individuals worldwide singing on the chorus, which we hope will be a new world record!

On top of all of these innovative ideas, The Elusive* will also be donating proceeds from the song to SOS Children, to support children in war-torn countries, so now there’s even more reason for you to get singing!
