SOS Children supported by Propertycompetiton.com

15/09/2008

A landlord from Coventry has told us he has decided to sell his property portfolio in an online competition after being hit by the credit crunch. However, as he has promised to make a contribution to charity there is the chance that the credit crunch will prove "silver lined" not just for a lucky winner in his prize draw but for SOS Children too. He will be running a serious of draws each time his ticket sales reach 8, 88, 888, 8888 and 88888.

As his website explains, when the 8,888 point is reached he has promised that propertycompetition.com will be donating £4,400 to SOS Children, and a similar sum to another charity. In addition a lucky draw winner will get £8,888. £4,400 would be welcomed by SOS Children as the global food crisis is putting up the prizes of the children we help everywhere.

Avtar Chagger, 44, said current market conditions had forced him to auction off five properties in Birmingham, Leicester and Aldershot in a competition where, for the price of a £25 ticket, one winner will take all. The competition website is at Property Competition.
