Fundraising News: Sponsor a Duck!

03/08/2007

Adopt a duck today for SOS Children!

On Sunday 2 September, a paddling of 165,000 yellow ducks will be seen floating down the Thames near Hampton Court, with the aim of raising half a million for charity.

The numbered ducks will go beak to beak over the 1km course, with the winning duck earning it's adoptive sponsor £10,000!

You can 'adopt' one or more ducks and make an online donation by following this link and adopting a duck now. The first £2 per duck you adopt goes to the great british duck race but any extra you want can be gifted to SOS Children on the site.

Join in the fun on the day to cheer on your duck and witness its part in the race which is set to make a Guinness World Record. There will be Duck race celebration parties along the banks of the Thames providing refreshments for spectators.

So, don't delay, adopt a duck today.. ready, set go!
