Bhangra beats for SOS Children

UK Bhangra artist Desi Dark Child’s latest album, Sleepwalking, will be raising funds for SOS Children when it hits the stores next month. Desi Dark Child, aka Ranjit Jassal, decided to put his money where his mouth is and donate all proceeds from his new album to SOS Children’s work supporting disadvantaged children in South Asia.
The album, which will be released on 20 August, is a collaborative work featuring eight new tracks all in a variety of styles, mixing traditional Bhangra, Arabic and Western beats. Fans of Bollywood will also love the traditional lyrics.
Ranjit hopes that this CD will be a great success and plans to work on more similar projects in the near future - best of luck Ranjit!
