  • January - In Greece, the Military League forces parliament and George I of Greece to summon National Assembly to revise Constitution of Greece the Constitution.
  • 10 January - 20 January - In the United States, the 1910 Los Angeles International Air Meet at Dominguez Field was held near Los Angeles, California. It was the first aviation meet to be held in the USA.
  • 15 January - In the United Kingdom, General Election held in response to the House of Lords' rejection of the 1909 budget results in reduced Liberal Party majority (Liberals, 275 seats; Labour, 40; Irish Nationalists, 82; Unionists (the title then preferred by the British Conservative Party), 273).
  • 16 January - Constant rains in Paris, France, cause the Seine to overflow its banks, flooding the city. All but one line of the Paris Métro become filled with water, effectively draining water from the city.

  • 14 August - fire at World Exhibition in Brussels destroys exhibitions of Britain and France.
  • 20 August and 21 August - Great Fire of 1910 wildfire which burned about three million acres (12,000 km²) in northeast Washington, northern Idaho, and western Montana over two days and killed 86 people. Believed to be the largest fire in recorded United States history.
  • 22 August - Japan-Korea Annexation Treaty.
  • 28 August - Montenegro is proclaimed an independent kingdom under Nicholas I.
  • 29 August - Emperor Sunjong of the Korean Empire abdicates and the country's monarchy is abolished.

September

  • 1 September - the Vatican introduces a compulsory oath against modernism, to be taken by all priests upon ordination.
  • 16 September - Australian Treasury given authority to issue currency, replacing the use of the British Pound.

October

  • 1 October - A bomb explodes at the Los Angeles Times building, leaving 21 dead and several injured. James B. McNamara and Joseph J. McNamara are later arrested and sentenced.
  • 5 October - Portugal becomes a republic. King Manuel II of Portugal flees to England.
  • 10 October - Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity is established at Columbia University.
  • 11 October - Theodore Roosevelt becomes the first president to ride in an airplane.
  • 18 October - Eleutherios Venizelos becomes prime minister of Greece.
  • 23 October - Vajiravudh (Rama VI) is crowned King of Siam, after the death of his father, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).

November

  • 7 November - First air flight for the purpose of delivering commercial freight occurs between Dayton, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio by the Wright Brothers and department store owner Max Moorehouse.
  • 17 November - Ralph Johnstone, a pilot for the Wright Exhibition Team, dies at Denver, Colorado after his machine broke apart in mid air in full view of about 5,000 spectators. Johnstone became the first American pilot to die in the crash of an airplane in the United States.
  • 20 November - Mexican Revolution: Francisco I. Madero denounces President Porfirio Díaz, declares himself president, and calls for a revolution to overthrow the government of Mexico.
  • 22 November - Sen. Aldrich and A.P. Andrews (Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Department), along with many of the country's leading financiers; who together represented about one-sixth of the world's wealth, were witnessed leaving Hoboken, New Jersey on a train together. They later arrived at the Jekyll Island Club to discuss monetary policy and the banking system, an event which some say was the impetus for the creation of the Federal Reserve.

December

  • December - British Prime Minister Asquith makes second appeal in the same year to the electorate to resolve battle of wills with the House of Lords (Liberals, 272; Labour, 42; Irish Nationalists, 84; Unionists, 272 - making a majority of 126 for restriction of the powers of the Lords and for Irish Home Rule).
  • 12 December - New York socialite Dorothy Arnold disappears. Her family does not notify the police until six weeks later, after their own investigations fail to produce any results.
  • 16 December
    • Henri Coandă makes first short flight in a plane with a jet engine.
    • In Houndsditch, London, four (Latvian) anarchists shoot three policemen in botched raid on a jewellers - three are arrested, other members of the gang escape but are later (January 1911) cornered in the ' siege of Sidney Street'.
  • 19 December - Edward Douglass White is sworn in as the 9th Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.
  • 31 December - Two of America's premier pioneer aviators were killed on this day. John Moisant in New Orleans. And Wright pilot Arch Hoxsey in Los Angeles.
